INDIAN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Remove the seat One bolt in rear, and two additional bolts, one on each side.
Remove the three hex head bolts on the horn cover. (5 mm Allen wrench)

FRONT FAN. Hold the front Love Jugs bracket so the top hole lines up with the top right hole in the horn cover threaded hole. Now look through the bottom hole to locate the bolt (10mm head) that needs to be removed, it’s about 1 1/8″ behind the bracket. Use the now removed bolt to temporally fasten the Love Jugs bracket in the top hole of the Love Jugs bracket. Snug the bolt so it holds the bracket in desired position.

Position the shorter spacer tube behind the bottom hole of the Love Jugs bracket, then insert the shorter bolt through the slotted bottom hole, through the spacer, and screw it into the threaded hole. Tighten this bolt securely using the Allen key provided. Remove the (Temporarily installed) top bolt and discard. The bracket and hole will now be perfectly aligned for re-installation of the horn cover.

REAR FAN. Repeat the same steps as the front jug, the only difference is the length of the bolt and spacer. On the rear fan, use the longer bolt and longer spacer.

Connect the wiring harness to the plugs on the fans. Zip tie the harness to existing wires to run the harness under the seat. Be careful to watch and avoid harness contact with engine .

Before you re-install the horn cover, insert the bottom bolt through horn cover, insert the small spacer washer provided on the bottom bolt before tightening the bolt.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION. Locate the existing Indian auxiliary electrical plug located under the seat. It will be obvious because it will match up with the Love Jugs plug. Connect the two plugs by inserting one into the other.

Re-install the seal.

MAKE SURE TO CHECK THAT THE WIRE HARNESS IS NOT TOUCHING THE HEAD OR ANY OTHER AREA OF THE ENGINE
