I have a 2011 Limited, stock 103 engine, 20K miles, with the lower fairings. I was surprised how hot it got when I bought it. At stops my right leg roasted so bad I had to pick it up and lean the bike to my left. The heat got so bad that the black engine paint blistered off the rear cylinder head around the spark plug. I installed a set of Love Jugs this spring. I don’t have an oil temp gauge, so I cant say how much it’s dropped, only that it has. Significantly.

The installation was super easy. It took about 30 minutes beginning to end. The wiring plugged directly into the stock accessory plug in front of the battery. I plan to add the frame mount over this winter. I no longer have to pick my right foot up at stops due to extreme heat. I have not experienced excessive heat blowing from the right side. I have had no issues at all with fan noise or rattle of any kind. I don’t really care what people think about how they look. It’s my bike and I like ’em. They definitely make the bike a lot more comfortable to ride. – Curt5811, Milwaukee WI
